One new hotel is under construction, and three are on the drawing board for Jackson.

Construction continues on Hilton Garden Inn, a four-story hotel at 1324 Vann Drive, on 2.46 acres located next to the Howard Johnson Inn.

According to officials at Ra-Lin Construction in Carrollton, Georgia, the target date for opening is late summer or early fall.

The hotel is owned by the Peachtree Hotel Group in Atlanta.

Park Place West: Best Western Plus is scheduled to become the first hotel to locate in Park Place West and the second in the area (Holiday Inn Express is located in Park Place East, near the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex).

Best Western Plus will offer 92 rooms.

SpringHill Suites – Marriott – will build a 92-unit hotel on 2.0 acres in Park Place West. Construction is scheduled to begin this fall.

Park Place West is located off exit 85 on Dr. F.E. Wright Drive.

Park Place East – La Quinta Inn will also begin construction on a new 90-unit hotel this fall.
