The Jackson Beer Board approved four special occasion permits to sell, store and serve beer, during its April meeting Tuesday, at Jackson City Hall.
The permits were issued to –
Peggy Moss, for an event that will be held April 21 at St. Mary’s Church, 1665 Highway 45 Bypass for an organization known as the Christian Girls Home of Moron, Haiti.
Stanley Mack Flowers, for an event that will be held April 29 at Jackson Fairgrounds Park for an organization known as Madison County Ducks Unlimited.
Randy S. Hall, for an event – the Jacob Barker Music Fest – to be held April 14-15 at the West Tennessee Farmers’ Market.
Matthew Stephen Altobell, for an event – the Aeneas Block Party – to be held April 25 in the Jackson Downtown area near the Aeneas Building.
Matt Altobell is the executive director of the Jackson Downtown Development Corporation.
“Working with special occasion requests are always easier,” Charles Rahm, chairman of the beer board said. “We have not had any problems with these events in the past, and we always appreciate their willingness to cooperate.”
