Zaxby’s Restaurant will open at 1543 S. Highland Ave., Monday, April 10.

“Anything could happen, but April 10 is the date we are comfortable with,” co-owner Thomas Pugh said. “Our restaurant hours are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sundays.”

Pugh said the drive through opens at 9 a.m., daily.

The location – once home to Super D Drug Store – will be Zaxby’s third in Jackson.

Zaxby’s also has restaurants at 1155 Vann Drive and 222 Oil Well Road.

According to company officials, the restaurant will be managed by Nick Anderson.

The new restaurant will have seating for about 70, and will hire about 60 new employees.
