The new Allied Health Building has opened at Jackson State Community.
The facility offers more than 40,000-square-feet of classrooms, labs, conference halls and spacious common areas.
Dr. Tom Pigg is the dean of Allied Heath Sciences and CIT.
Construction on the new facility began in November 2015, and is the home to Jackson State’s allied health programs which currently include: medical lab technician; radiography; emergency medical technician; physical therapist assistant and occupational therapy assistant.
The facility is adjacent to the 35,000-square-foot Jim Moss Center for Nursing.
