A person who exemplifies all the qualities of a servant leader is the recipient of the 2016 West Tennessee Healthcare President’s Award.
Joyce Noles, an emergency medical technician, joined the West Tennessee Healthcare family in 1997, and has served as a Paramedic, Station Manager, Operations Manager and Director of Medical Center EMS.
Earlier this year, Noles was named the Executive Director of Emergency Medical Services.
Presented annually, the President’s Award recognizes a Department Director that goes above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities by exhibiting a selfless manner within their career, community and civic involvement.
“It is such an honor to be recognized by West Tennessee Healthcare,” Noles said. “I attribute this success to the great mentors and leaders that I have been blessed to know throughout my career. We have the best team of Emergency Medical providers and I consider it a privilege to work alongside them each day.”
Noles was presented with the honor during the February Department Directors’ Meeting.
According to a press release, Noles is active with numerous professional, community and civic organizations. She is a member of the Jackson State Community College Paramedic Advisory Board and the Jackson State Nursing Advisory Board, and she is a Legislative Representative, previous President of the West Tennessee Directors Association and current President of the Tennessee Ambulance Service Association.
Noles also serves as a member of the Hollow Rock Bruceton Special School District Board and serves as Captain of the Carroll County Volunteer Fire Department District 3.
Noles is also an active member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church.
