Register to Vote for November Elections

JACKSON, Tenn. – If you plan on voting in this November presidential election and are not

yet registered the clock is ticking.

Madison County Election Administrator Kim Buckley says if you have moved since
the last time you voted, you need to update your address with the election
commission.

According to Buckley, If you are age 60 and over and you would like to
vote absentee, you can vote by mail and avoid the wait in line.
To be qualified to cast an absentee ballot you have to have voted at least
once or have registered in person.

Buckley also wants to remind everyone all voters must present a state or
federal photo ID when going to vote .

For more information about voting, visit the Madison County Election
Commission website madisonelections.com or call 660-1796.
