JACKSON, Tenn. — On Wednesday a jury returned a guilty verdict for a man
charged in a 2014 shooting homicide.
Corbyn Davis was convicted of killing Jamar Rogers. The shooting took
place in front of Rogers girlfriend as they were leaving a club in the Omni
Center on the 45 Bypass. This was a cold case until new information
prompted an investigation which led to charges beibg filed earlier this
year.
Davis was found guilty on charges of first-degree murder and felon in
possession of a firearm.
Davis is being held without bond. He is scheduled to be sentenced in November.
