JACKSON, Tenn. – West Tennessee Healthcare has announced the promotion of Tim
Adams to Vice President of Hospital Services. Tim Adams began his new role
with the organization on September 6, 2016.
Adams joined West Tennessee Healthcare in 1987 as a Safety Engineer with
the Safety Department. Throughout his time with the health system he has
held various leadership positions including, Director of Safety, Security
and Telecommunications and Director of Outpatient Services. In 2009, Adams
was named Executive Director of West Tennessee Neurosciences and Spine and
West Tennessee Rehabilitation Center.
As Vice President of Hospital Services, Adams will serve on the health
systems executive leadership team and oversee the following areas within
the organization: Bio Med, Construction, Engineering, Environmental
Services, Emergency Medical Services, Food Services, Laundry, Maintenance
and Security.
West Tennessee Healthcare Interim President & CEO James Ross said, “For
nearly thirty years, Tim has proven himself as a successful leader within
our organization. His people skills, healthcare knowledge and commitment
for serving others will make him an excellent addition to the executive
leadership team.”
