JACKSON, Tenn. – The 33rd annual Circle of Hope Telethon raised over $1.4 million on Sunday for the prevention of child Abuse. The telethon on WBBJ-TV raised the funds over nine hours for the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
The telethon included a tribute to “Cousin Tuny,” Doris Freeman, who co-hosted the telethon for years before her death over a week ago.
The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse maintains 24 Abuse Centers in 20 counties throughout West Tennessee.
