JACKSON, Tenn. – The accused man now facing a murder charge in the death of an undercoverĀ Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agent has a lengthy criminal history.On Wednesday, Brenden Tyler Burns told the court he doesnāt have any family in this area.
Burns also said he does not have a drug or alcohol problem but did admit to
being arrested in the past. He told the court āIām on probation,ā āThatās
six months though.ā Burns said.According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, 23-year-old Brenden
Tyler Burns has crossed paths several times with law enforcement in West
Tennessee.In March 2012 Burns was arrested in Carroll County for burglary. He has
since had numerous charges in courts from Carroll County Sheriffās Office,
Huntingdon Police Department, Madison County Sheriffās Office, and the
Jackson Police Department. Most of his additional charges are driving and
drug related.
