GIBSON COUNTY, Tn. — Humboldt Police have 2 men charged with failure to
render title for used car
31 year old Taylor Atkins, and 56 year old Billy Wayne Alexander, both of
Humboldt face charges, according to the Humboldt Police Department.
According to a news release, on May 17 a customer bought a vehicle at
King and Alexander Used Cars, located on East End Drive in Humboldt. The
customer was unable to get a clear title.
Police say Atkins was the sales representative who signed the bill of sale
and Alexander was the owner of the dealership, .
Taylor Atkins is the former police chief for the town of Gibson. Atkins
released on a $5,000 bond.
Alexander reamined in the Gibson County Criminal Complex on unrelated
charges.
