Hardeman County – U.S. Marshal Jeff Holt announced in a news release Wednesday the capture of 44-year-old Michael Orquia, who was wanted by the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office in Washington on four counts of child molestation.
Marshals in Washington had been looking for Orquia since the warrant was issued in December, the release said.
Investigators believe that Orquia fled Washington to avoid capture, eventually landing in Toone. Marshals said they captured Orquia in Toone late Tuesday night after a tip led them to a residence. Orquia was arrested without incident and taken to the Hardeman County Jail to await extradition.
