The Jackson Police Department Major Crimes Unit conducted an underage alcohol operation September 27, 2024, and clerks in 10 Jackson businesses inside the Jackson City Limits denied informants who were trying to purchase beer illegally.

One store – Bull Market, 935 Hollywood Drive – was cited for selling to a minor.
