Jet service to Atlanta, Chicago now available for booking at McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport

Jackson, TN – McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport is thrilled to announce that passengers can now book flights with Denver Air Connection for travel beginning December 2, 2024. Flights are available for booking on both the airline’s website, www.denverairconnection.com, and the airport’s site, www.flyjackson.com. Tickets may also be purchased through all major third-party online travel services, making booking your next trip simple and convenient.

This new service will connect Jackson directly to Atlanta, GA, and Chicago, IL, using 50-passenger jets, complete with flight attendants and complimentary snacks. Denver Air Connection’s Interline Agreements with Delta Airlines, United Airlines, and American Airlines provide travelers with unparalleled benefits, including seamless ticketing, baggage transfers, and through-checks to and from any of their partner airlines’ destinations across the globe.

In addition to these fantastic connections, travelers at McKellar-Sipes will enjoy the convenience of on-site TSA screening right at the airport. With shorter lines, quicker boarding times, and less hassle than larger airports, passengers can expect a smoother and more convenient travel experience.

McKellar-Sipes is also nearing the completion of its runway and lighting improvements, with a target for full operational readiness by mid-November. These upgrades will enhance safety, efficiency, and overall service at the airport, setting the stage for a new chapter in air travel for the region.

Steve Smith, Executive Director of the Jackson-Madison County Airport Authority, emphasized the significance of this moment: “We’re not just upgrading infrastructure—we’re opening the door to new possibilities for our airport and the community we serve. The ability to book flights with Denver Air Connection is the start of something big, and we’re eager to welcome travelers as we expand our reach and services.”

Cindy Melton, Deputy Director and Airport Manager, highlighted the benefits to passengers: “The improvements to our runway and the introduction of DAC flights are game changers. Travelers will now enjoy more convenient options with short, local TSA lines, direct flights to Atlanta and Chicago and beyond, and a smoother travel experience.”
