There’s a new No. 1 in this week’s Grace Media Group’s WNWS.COM Baker’s Dozen area high school football coaches’ poll.

Milan leaped over McKenzie for the No. 1 spot following a 54-0 win over Gibson County. McKenzie slipped to No. 2.

Haywood held the No. 2 spot, but lost favor in the poll following a 49-6 loss at Murfreesboro Oakland, and fell to No. 13.

7) – Crockett County (3-0) – won at Lexington, 28-6

8) – Jackson Christian (3-0) – defeated Goodpasture, 42-14

9) – Jackson Central-Merry (3-0) – won at Camden, 28-12

10) – Henry County (2-1) – won at Springfield, 23-22

11) – Halls (3-0) – defeated Greenfield, 41-0

12) – Riverside (2-1) defeated Peabody, 22-18

13) – Haywood (2-1) – lost at Murfreesboro Oakland, 49-6
