On August 27, 2024, at the Tennessee Juvenile Court Services Association (TJCSA) Conference in Franklin, TN, Madison County Juvenile Court Services employee Rhomeris Transou was awarded the 2024 Outstanding Juvenile Court Probation/Youth Services Officer Award.

Director T.J. King nominated Transou saying, “There have been several compliments given by parents and clients of his work ethic, dedication, and perseverance in pushing these clients to achieve their goals and better themselves.

“Rhomeris is an exceptional team player, and is always looking for ways to help others.

“Rhomeris works hard to help his clients succeed, not only in probation but in life.”

Madison County was very well represented at the conference.  Two (2) other employees – La’Tanya Woods and Roosevelt Washington also hold leadership positions for the Association.

The Madison County Juvenile Court Services Department is doing great things and their employees are repeatedly highly recognized by other departments across the state.

Madison County is better because of these employees and the work they continue to do to help young adults turn a mistake into a success.
