[Jackson, Tennessee] LIFELINE Blood Services will host its “Saddle Up & Save Lives Blood Drive” in Jackson.
The event will be held today, August 22 – 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. – at LIFELINE’s Jackson location – 183 Sterling Farms Drive. The community is invited to attend and donate blood for a lifesaving cause.
Every donor 18+ will be entered to win a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport generously donated by Joe Mahan Ford in Paris. Participants will receive a limited-edition donor t-shirt, the first 100 donors will receive a voucher for a free salad or sandwich from Texas Roadhouse, and a chance to win a prize package consisting of 2 tickets to the Tracy Lawrence concert scheduled for Oct. 3rd at Carl Perkins Civic Center – donated by Forever Communications as well as a gift card to Logan’s Roadhouse. LIFELINE encourages the community to “Saddle Up & Save Lives” by donating blood because every donation saves up to 3 patients’ lives!

LIFELINE provides blood services to 21 West Tennessee counties, including 17 hospitals and 21 emergency helicopter service locations and 1 ground ambulance service. Annually, the Center collects approximately 26,000 blood products (red cell units, platelets, plasma, etc.) to meet the needs of patients. Of that total, 75% of those products are usually collected on the bloodmobiles across West Tennessee. LIFELINE also provides reference lab and cross-matching services to healthcare facilities.
