Madison County, TN – On August 13, 2024, at approximately 6:20 a.m., Madison County Sheriff’s
Deputies were contacted regarding a possible missing juvenile.
The juvenile was reported missing by family members after they noticed that he had left his residence enroute to school but did not arrive. Once the school confirmed the juvenile’s absence, a missing person report was filed with dispatch and also a TBI Missing Child Form was also filed.
The sheriff’s office contacted the phone carrier of the victim in an attempt to “ping” the victim’s
location. The phone carrier was unable to obtain a location of the victim’s phone.
At approximately 5:54, p.m., Madison County Deputies were dispatched to an area of Ranger Road,
just north of McAbee Road, where the victim’s vehicle was found fully submerged in a deep creek.
Madison County Fire and EMS also responded to the scene to assist in the incident.
Tragically, this incident is being considered a traffic fatality. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office
requested the assistance of the Tennessee Highway Patrol to conduct a traffic reconstruction investigation.
