The Jackson Beer Board fined one convenience store as the result of an underage alcohol operation during a Show Cause meeting at Jackson City Hall, Tuesday.
BP, 2119 North Parkway, had its beer license suspended for 30 days, but if a $1,500 fine is paid within seven days, the suspension will be lifted.
Jackson Metro Narcotics conducted an underage alcohol operation at 10 Jackson businesses inside the Jackson city limits, June 21.
Nine businesses denied sales to informants who were trying to purchase beer illegally, but one convenience store was cited for selling to a minor.
A clerk at BP, 2119 North Parkway, asked for identification, but completed the sale.
