From the Jackson Police Department –
Jackson Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a sixteen year old juvenile male and request any information that will assist in the ongoing investigation.
On June 1, 2024 at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers from the Jackson Police Department responded to 81 Sweetbriar Circle in reference to a shot sixteen year old juvenile.
The victim was deceased when officers arrived. Again, this investigation is ongoing and Jackson Police request anyone with information that could help solve this crime to contact the department by calling 731-425-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 731-424-8477 (TIPS).
While officers were on the scene a male subject was taken into custody for outstanding warrants unrelated to the shooting investigation.
