JACKSON, Tennessee – Jackson Christian School, a private, Christian-based college preparatory school located in Jackson, Tenn., is pleased to announce senior student-athlete Trent Carrier has signed to play collegiate football at Washington University.
According to a press release from Janet Wylie – Jackson Christian’s director of marketing & public relations, following his graduation this spring, Carrier begins his academic and collegiate football career at Washington University in the fall of 2024.
In Carrier’s career as a wide receiver and defensive back at Jackson Christian, he amassed 111 career tackles, four interceptions – one that covered 75 yards for a touchdown – and was part of 37 wins over his four-year tenure.
Carrier was part of four quarterfinal appearances and one state semifinal appearance. Carrier was selected as a 2023 Division II-A all region wide receiver and defensive back.
He also was selected to play in the West Tennessee All-Star football game. Perhaps most notably, Carrier was chosen by the National Football Foundation Memphis Chapter as Scholar Athlete of the year.

Carrier plans to study finance at Washington University in St. Louis.
