JACKSON, Tennessee – Jackson Christian School, a private, Christian-based college preparatory school located in Jackson, Tennessee, hosted their annual Career Day for early learning village and elementary students Thursday, March 7.
According to a press release from Janet Wylie – director of marketing & public relations – the event featured over seventy workforce professionals, ranging from doctors, policeman, and photographers to bankers, mechanics and veterinarians.
“Career Day is one of our favorite events here at Jackson Christian elementary,” Director of Elementary Jeanna Rice said. “Our students love to hear from professionals about their jobs, and we encourage our students to visualize themselves and explore what jobs they might like to have as well.”

Several career day booths gave students opportunities to “try their hand” at their profession, like cleaning dentures, woodworking, and being the subject of a photography portrait. The event lasted three hours and students ages two to fifth grade toured and participated in the event. Learn more about Jackson Christian, visit their website at jcseagles.org.
