[Jackson, TN] – The University School of Jackson is pleased to announce a special evening event featuring Dr. Devorah Heitner, renowned author of “Growing Up in Public” and “Screenwise.”

In an age where everything can be shared and compared, and the digital world increasingly influences our daily lives, Dr. Devorah Heitner offers invaluable guidance on navigating the challenges of raising children in a connected world.
One of the most pressing dilemmas facing society today is finding the balance between the vast resources of the digital world and our mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
During the event, Dr. Heitner will engage with parents on a range of topics, including digital well-being and citizenship, parenting screen time, mindful technology usage, and raising empathetic kids in a connected world.
Her expertise, drawn from her acclaimed books “Growing Up in Public” and “Screenwise,” offers practical strategies for promoting positive digital citizenship among children and teenagers.
