Today, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Jackson Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and the Tennessee Department of Homeland Security, swiftly responded to a reported bomb threat at North Side High School in Jackson, Tennessee.
Upon receiving the threat, law enforcement agencies immediately mobilized resources and deployed teams to the scene. A search of the premises was conducted, ensuring the safety and security of all students, staff, and faculty.
We are pleased to announce that the scene has been examined and deemed secure at this time. Sheriff Wiser would like to thank the members of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Police Department, Jackson-Madison County School System, and Tennessee Department of Homeland Security, along with the help of other local first responder agencies for their collaborative efforts during this investigation.
