The Jackson Beer Board approved one business permit during a special called meeting at Jackson City Hall, Wednesday.

Jenna Hamilton King, representing ‘My Best Friend Jenna – Fashion Show,’ which will be held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, Thursday, Feb. 15, was approved to sell, store, and serve at the fundraising event for St. Jude.

Looking to top the $1 million mark in donations since its inception, doors open at 4:45 p.m., for the 13th annual event – ‘Lights, Cameras, Fashion’ – which begins at 6 p.m., featuring dresses by Johnathan Kayne.

The dresses – priced from $50 to $200 – will be modeled by approximately 50 high school girls on the runway at the Civic Center.
