From the Jackson Police Department –

On February 8, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers of the Jackson Police Department were dispatched to the 100 Block of Lincoln Circle for a ShotSpotter alert.

While en route, officers were advised of a person possibly shot at 146 Lincoln Circle.

When officers arrived, they located a 33-year-old male lying on the ground at the back of the house, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to a local hospital by Emergency Medical Services where the victim succumbed to his injuries.
