Dyersburg, TN – On February 5th, 2024, U.S. Marshals captured Jeremiah Davis, 19, of Humboldt, Tennessee, on a First Degree Murder warrant in Kentucky.

On January 16th, Davis along with another person attempted to rob two victims in Dyersburg. During the robbery, Davis allegedly shot one of the people multiple times resulting in the victim’s death.

On January 20th, the Dyersburg Police Department (DPD) obtained an arrest warrant for Davis. The DPD requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service in locating and apprehending Davis.

On the afternoon of February 5th, the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Jackson, Tennessee, alongside U.S. Marshals from Western Kentucky, Kentucky State Police and the Mayfield (Kentucky) Police Department located Davis outside a residence off Foster Street in Mayfield. Davis fled out a back window and was quickly apprehended by the TRVFTF’s K-9. Davis was booked into Graves County Jail and will await the extradition process back to Tennessee.

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force within Western Tennessee.
