One convenience store was fined for selling beer to a minor, and one had its beer permit revoked when the Jackson Beer Board held a Show Cause meeting at Jackson City Hall, Tuesday.
South Side Mini Mart, 1939 South Highland Avenue, was fined $2,500 and had its license suspended for 30 days following a second offense.
If the fine is paid within seven days the suspension will be lifted.
Following a fourth offense – 2015, 2016, 2018, 2023 – Raceway, 2023 South Highland Avenue, had its license revoked.
Raceway management was a no show for the meeting.
Jackson Metro Narcotics conducted both underage alcohol operations.
