Madison County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Traffic Fatality

Madison County, TN – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is actively investigating a two-vehicle crash resulting in a fatality that occurred in the area of Mifflin Road and Ranger Road.

At approximately 1:09 p.m., on January 22, 2024, MCSO responded to a traffic incident involving two vehicles on Mifflin Road.

Preliminary information indicates that after the initial collision, one of the vehicles left the roadway, went down an embankment, and crashed into a tree line.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office traffic reconstructionist, along with deputies, is currently conducting a comprehensive investigation to determine the factors leading to the crash.

Details of the deceased driver will be released at the appropriate time, respecting the sensitivity of the situation and the ongoing nature of the investigation.
