Jay’len Mosley, a junior running back/receiver/free safety for the Jackson Christian School Eagles, was named the Tennessee Titans Division II-A Mr. Football for 2023, today.

Mosley, who becomes the first Mr. Football in Jackson Christian School history, was one of three finalists for the award which was presented during a ceremony at Nissan Stadium, the home of the Tennessee Titans.

During the 2023 season, Mosley had 74 receptions for 1,482 receiving yards and accounted for 26 total touchdowns.

He set a school record for single season receiving yards, and became Jackson Christian’s single season touchdown receptions leader.

He is No. 3 in TSSAA history for single season touchdown receptions, and No. 10 in TSSAA history for single season receiving yards.

Mosley, Brian Shields from FACS and Tyson Wolcott, Friendship Christian were finalists for the award.
