Construction has started on Homewood Suites by Hilton in The Columns Phase III.

Owned by Mitul Patel, managing principal Peachtree Hotel Group in Atlanta, the facility – located at 33 Capital Avenue – will become the fifth hotel on the west side of Vann Drive.

Homewood Suites by Hilton will join Howard Johnson Inn, 1292 Vann Drive, Fairfield Inn & Suites, 1335 Vann Drive, and Hilton Garden Inn, which opened December 2022 at 1324 Vann Drive.

Construction continues on Tru by Hilton on the corner of Vann Drive and Rushmeade Road in The Columns Phase III.

Raj Patel is the owner of the 92 unit hotel, which will offer approximately 48,000 square feet.

Tru by Hilton is an American brand of hotels trademarked by Hilton Worldwide. The hotel brand was announced in January 2016.

There are approximately 230 Tru locations in the United States.
