Dynamix Physical Therapy is honored to announce that President and Co-Founder of Dynamix Physical Therapy, Russ Huffstetler, was awarded the 2023 Most Outstanding Alumnus award given by the University of Tennessee Health Science Center on November 10, 2023 in Memphis, TN.
“I am honored to be recognized as the Most Outstanding Alumni by UTHSC in 2023. This award is a reflection of the exceptional education and support I received from the university, as well as the collaborative efforts of the Dynamix team,” said Huffstetler. “I am grateful for the opportunities and knowledge gained at UTHSC, and I remain committed to upholding the values instilled in me as I contribute to the success of Dynamix while ushering in a new era of healthcare.”
This is the most prestigious award given by the alumni association presented in recognition of an individual’s contribution to their respected health profession. Russ received the award in Memphis, TN at an award banquet honoring his achievement.
In addition to UTHSC faculty and staff, Russ was surrounded by his wife, Sarah Beth, and Dynamix colleagues. Representing Dynamix was co-founder Heath Ladd, Mykie Anderson, Nick Nordtvedt, Cory Wilcox, and Sarah Smith.

Russ Huffstetler, PT, DPT, CIMT, Cert. DN, of Greenfield, TN began his career through the University of Tennessee at Martin followed by acceptance into the physical therapy program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Graduating with a Master
of Physical Therapy in 2004 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005.
After practicing in Nashville, TN, Russ returned home to Northwest Tennessee where he founded Dynamix with business partner Heath Ladd in 2009.
Dynamix has received numerous awards for outstanding achievements in service and business including the Ascend Practice of the Year in 2022 and recognized as an Inc. 5000 company four consecutive years.
Dynamix currently boasts 17 clinics and 5 health clubs in the region. Russ is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Tennessee Physical Therapy Association, and Private Practice Section of the APTA.
