It’s time again for one of Jackson’s most exciting nights.
Dancing With The STARs, presented by Leaders Credit Union, returns for its 8th annual event Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Jackson Fairgrounds.
The event will showcase 14 community leaders tasked with raising vital funds to benefit The STAR Center and its six services; Speech Therapy, Music Therapy, Employment Services, Home Care, Assistive Technology, and Vision Services.
This event is successful because our West Tennessee community does what it has done for the last 35 years – supports the work of The STAR Center. Without donors, we would not be able to serve those in our community who are searching for hope.
Whether STAR is serving children who are non-verbal helping them find their voice or helping individuals with a disability find employment, the mission of The STAR Center is what drives the teams to fundraise and prepare for the competition.
We consistently hear how our dancers have pushed through what they thought were limitations. Donations make it possible for people who come to The STAR Center to turn their challenges into opportunities and rise above their circumstances.
The event is officially sold out, but community members can join the official Dancing with the STARs Watch Party on Thursday, October 26 hosted by Hub City Brewing, where there will be a live showing of the event thanks to EplusTV6.
Dancing with the STARs continues to break records and October 26, 2023, will go down as the largest fundraising event in The STAR Center’s 35-year history.
