Question: First, would you give us a little background information on the Jackson Bowling & Skating Fun Center – when it opened, number of lanes, and additional activities?

Answer: We opened the Jackson Bowling & Skating Family Fun Center has opened its doors in 1995 for the purpose of serving family recreation to community of Jackson and surrounding counties of West Tennessee.

The 56,000-square-foot indoor facility offers 16 Go Carts, two snack bars, 1 bar for adult beverages, 32 lanes for bowling, 4 mini-bowling lane (for the little ones), a 16,000-square-foot skating rink, 2 large arcades, 1 large café seating area, 20+ laser tag vest in a 2,000-square-foot arena, 1 “2” seater virtual roller coaster and an 18 hole mini golf course.

Question: The Bowling Center is offering free bowling for kids through Aug. 31. Would you tell us how the program evolved, and how the program works?

Answer: We appreciate all of the West Tennessee community for the support of the past 28 years.

After weeks of researching for the purpose of appreciating the community, we have determined to provide a ‘Free Bowling Service’ to children under 16 while they are on summer break.

For those interested they can call 731-668-BOWL (2695), or visit jacksonbowling.com

Question: We noticed there are certain guidelines. For instance, parents are not allowed to simply drop their child or children off. What else should those who are looking to participate know about how the program works?

Answer: Every Thursday through August 31, kids bowl free. There is a two-game limit per child and bowling shoes are included.

It’s absolutely free fun while making real memories with you family.

We have a policy – any unattended children under the age of 18 will be asked to leave. We ask the parents not to drop their children off without any guardianship. This is for their safety.

Question: Is this the first year of the program (if not) how successful has the program been?

Answer: It is the first year … a couple of weeks ago we had over 400 reservations of free bowling from families.

As of today, we have had over 700 inquiries on this program.
