From the Jackson Police Department –

At approximately 4:36 a.m., Tuesday, officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to an incident at 47 Lands End Drive.

Responding officers located an individual suffering from a gunshot (wound).

The individual was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment and was later released with a non-life threatening gunshot injury.

This investigation is ongoing.
