Jackson, Tennessee – The Jackson-Madison County Airport Authority, responsible for managing the operations of McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport, is proud to announce the promotions of key employees within the organization.
According to a press release from Harvey Boyd, media relations, McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport, Cindy Melton, formerly Deputy Airport Director, has been promoted to Deputy Director/Airport Manager.
Brandon David, formerly Airport Operations Manager/Interim FBO Manager, has been promoted to Deputy Airport Director.
“These promotions reflect the significant contributions these individuals have made to the success of our organization,” said Steve Smith, Executive Director. “We are confident that they will excel in their new roles and continue to drive growth and innovation across the company.”
Melton, who has been with the JMCAA/McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport since 2003, brings a wealth of experience to her new position. In their previous role, she demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise, and we are excited to see how she will continue to drive results in the new role.
She currently serves on the Tennessee Aviation Association Board of Directors and is a member of AAAE and was named Tennessee Airport Manager of the Year in 2014.
David, who has been with JMCAA/McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport since 2011, has shown incredible dedication and a deep understanding of the business. In his new role, he will have the opportunity to make an even greater impact on the organization and customers.
Smith added, “The excellent service from these individuals, combined with the current and near future growth of the demands placed upon the facility, warrant these promotions. We, along with most every other public facility in West Tennessee must prepare for the exponential economic growth on the horizon.”
