From the Jackson Police Department –

Officers with the Jackson Police Department are investigating a shooting in the 100 Block of Lexington Avenue.

At approximately 12:46 p.m., Monday, officers responded to a shots fired call.

Upon arrival, officers located a male victim in the parking lot suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital.

This is an ongoing investigation.
