Walmart North, 2196 Emporium Drive, has reopened for business, following an early morning stabbing, Wednesday.

The store was closed after a Walmart employee was stabbed and transported to a local hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers with the Jackson Police Department arrested a male suspect in the stabbing and transported the individual to the Criminal Justice Complex.

This is an ongoing investigation and further information will be released at a later time.
