BRG Development acquires the former Walmart shopping center – 1700 West Reelfoot Avenue, in Union City that currently has Bargain Hunt as an existing tenant.
We have plans for an extensive remodel for the remaining 36,000 square feet with the addition of TJ Maxx and 5 Below to the center.
TJ Maxx is a chain of department stores, selling name brands at prices reasonably lower than other stores in their market.
There are over 1,200 stores in the United States (21st location in TN) and it is one of the largest clothing retailers in the country.
(TJ Maxx and 5 Below have retail stores in Jackson – TJ Maxx and 5 Below are located in West Towne Commons at 127 Stonebrook Place)
The new popular retailer, 5 Below, has more than 1,250 stores located across the United States.
Most of their items are offered anywhere between $1 and $5 dollars. They offer various seasonal items, fashion, home decor, pet supplies, books, tech items, and more.
Union City is a rapidly growing area and we are very excited to be a part of that growth in bringing another 40 plus job opportunities, generating more local sales tax that will go back into the community, along with greater shopping experiences and options.
