According to reports, many national retailers plan to close for Thanksgiving (Nov. 24) this year to give employees a day off.  The stores’ online focus is another reason for the Turkey Day Thursday closure.

Stores are already offering Black Friday deals online to encourage customers to shop from the comfort of their own homes.

It is advised to check your local stores for specific store hours before heading out to shop.
