JACKSON TN– A juvenile has been airlifted after being hit by a school bus while riding a bicycle in north Jackson, according to police.
Jackson Police Department Sgt. Derick Tisdale said the accident happened just before 4 p.m. on Passmore Lane near Shepherd’s Field
The bus involved in the accident is used to transport students for the West Tennessee School for the Deaf, according to Ginger Carver, Jackson-Madison County School System.
The Jackson Fire and Police responded to the scene along with Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
