Ford Motor Company and SK On are investing in Blue Oval City – a massive new environmentally and technologically advanced vehicle and battery manufacturing campus in West Tennessee that is leading the shift to an electric America.
The public is invited to join an in-person panel discussion on Blue Oval City – 10 a.m. – Noon – at the Jackson Fairgrounds, 800 South Highland Ave., Oct. 20.
The panel of Ford and SK team members will share where we are today and what the community can expect to see from Ford and our partners in the future.
The conversation will offer residents of the local community a glimpse at:
• What to expect in the community during construction
• Measures we are taking to protect the adjacent and connected water and land resources
• An overview of anticipated workforce needs at Blue Oval City and the many strategies we are using to meet them
• An overview of our philanthropic approach to support communities near our facilities
• Our efforts to ensure supplier diversity at Blue Oval City throughout construction and beyond
