‘Anything we can do to help the community’ – crowd gathers at 731 Sports Bar & Grill for ‘National Night Out’

An early arriving crowd at 731 Sports Bar & Grill, 601 Vann Drive, participated in National Night Out Against Crime, a community service of Crime Stoppers.

“If you know the owner of 731 Sports Bar & Grill, and the business, everything we do is about community,” Chris Parrott said, “Helping the community thrive and be as big a part of Jackson, Tennessee as we can.

“We’re hosting the event to get the word out … anything we can do to help the community.”

Chris is the general manager of 731 Sports Bar & Grill and Redbones Grill & Bar, 584 Carriage House Drive – both owned by Trent Alford.

National Night Out is for people to come out and meet officers, meet some people in their neighborhood,” Mike Johnson said, “There are National Night Out neighborhoods all over Jackson and Madison County, where officers will be going by to talk about problems they are having in their community.

“We are hoping a lot of people come out.”

Mike Johnson, is the director of Crime Stoppers, and he was joined at 731 Sports Bar & Grill with his assistant Lindsay Kilburn.
