JACKSON Tenn – Employee caught working with an accomplice to steal merchandise, allege police.

Alexandria Buntyn was in Jackson City Court charged with Theft of Property over $500.00. Buntyn is alleged to have worked with an accomplice to steal items by voiding items or placing items into bags without scanning them.

Walmart security officers allege the suspect, Buntyn, on four separate occasions allowed an accomplice to leave the store with unpaid merchandise by either voiding out the merchandise or by placing it in a bag without scanning it. Police say the thefts totaled more than $775.00.

Buntyn has admitted to investigators that she participated in the theft and identified her accomplice as her mother, Lovie Martin, according to police.
Buntyn remains in custody in lieu of bond
