An investigation continues into the shooting death of a male – age unknown – that occurred on North Highland Avenue between Skyline Drive and North Parkway, Friday.

The shooting caused an automobile accident and responding officers dispatched to the 1700 Block of North Highland Avenue located one vehicle with a deceased subject on the inside.

The Jackson Police Department is trying to locate or identify a black sedan that would have been traveling northbound on North Highland Avenue approaching North Parkway at approximately 5:12 p.m., Friday.
