Jackson, Tennessee – West Tennessee Healthcare is pleased to announce Tony Rogers as the 2019 President’s Award recipient (delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic).
According to Amy Garner – West Tennessee Healthcare system vice president chief compliance & communications officer – the President’s Award, which is awarded annually, recognizes a Department Director that goes above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities by exhibiting a selfless manner within their career, community and civic involvement, was presented with the honor during the March Board of Trustees’ Meeting.
Tony has been an employee of West Tennessee Healthcare since 2005, serving as the Director of Central Services.
Tony said winning the President’s Award is a humbling experience, “I have such a great family here at work, and I appreciate this recognition so much.”
West Tennessee Healthcare President and Chief Executive Officer James Ross said, “Tony exemplifies all of the qualities of a servant leader. He leads by example and is not afraid to roll up his sleeves, especially during the pandemic. He truly exemplifies our culture to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve, as goes above and beyond meeting the need and making a difference.”
