
JACKSON Tenn – Wal-Mart security told police that on Monday afternoon Phillip Beeks and Dorothy Coleman were seen coming in the Emporium Drive location. The pair were seen filling a shopping cart with over a hundred items.
Allegedly, when Coleman finished she handed the cart off to Beeks and went to the parking lot to wait for Beeks. Video surveillance shows Phillip Beeks take the cart with 133 items in it past all the checkout points without paying.
Wal-Mart security stopped Phillip Beeks at the door, police took Dorothy Coleman in custody still waiting in the vehicle.
The merchandise was valued at over $500.00 Phillip Beeks and Dorothy Coleman are charged with Theft of Property
