From the campaign of Billy Burkhead for Madison County Trustee –
Billy Burkhead is running for Madison County Trustee for the 2022 Election Year. He has spent the last 13 years employed with Madison County in the Finance Department and currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit for the County.
These positions have provided Billy with firsthand knowledge about the specific issues that affect our county. He has worked with the Madison County Commission and County Personnel in other Departments.
Being a life-long resident of Madison County, Billy attended Madison County Public Schools and local colleges. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Union University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
Prior to being employed by Madison County, his career has included working as a Financial Analyst for West Tennessee Healthcare, Patient Accounts Manager at Methodist Healthcare and teaching at West Tennessee Business College.
Billy and his wife Jennifer have been married 23 years and have two children. Jennifer has taught in the Madison County School System for 25 years. They are faithful members of Parkburg Baptist Church. As a family, they are devoted to Madison County as their permanent home.
Having a true passion for public service, Billy decided to officially announce his candidacy for Madison County Trustee. His success as your next Madison County Trustee depends on your vote and support in 2022.
