Health Department confirms 7 additional COVID-19 related deaths; 916 positive test results since Feb. 2

JACKSON, Tennessee – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms seven additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 364 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:

  • 79-year-old female (died 1/24/22)
  • 86-year-old male (died 1/26/22)
  • 63-year-old female (died 1/28/22)
  • 93-year-old female (died 2/1/22)
  • 78-year-old male (died 2/1/22)
  • 64-year-old male (died 2/1/22)
  • 94-year-old female (died 2/3/22)

The health department has received positive test results for 916 more cases of COVID-19 since Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022. We now have 25,802 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals.

The health department reports 19,224 have recovered.
