The West Tennessee Healthcare Board of Trustees approved two real estate transactions during its monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.
The West Tennessee Healthcare Board of Trustees approved the sale of Real Property on Eastview Drive in Humboldt by the Foundation to the Purchaser, pursuant to the terms and conditions negotiated and approved by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, for a price of $27,034 in an “AS IS” condition, without representations and warranties as to the condition of the property, with the funds received from the sale of the Real Property directed to the Hospice House fund.
The real property consists of 19.31 acres.
The Board also entered into a Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement with Donald Lee Whitmire and Robert Nolen Whitmire (“Sellers”) for acquisition of property at 195 Summar Drive by WTH for a price of $115,000 in budgeted District funds, plus other customary and reasonable closing costs, upon satisfactory approval of due diligence as to the Property.
Management had identified certain real property located at 195 Summar Drive, Jackson, Tennessee 38301 (“the Property”) located in a strategic location for future expansion and business opportunities and determined the acquisition of the Property would be of benefit to citizens of the Jackson-Madison County community, and would further promote the District’s purpose of providing quality healthcare to the community.
